Board of Trustees Grants:
The Agape Foundation's Board of Trustees makes grants twice a year
in April and October to small, California-based, grassroots organizations
working for nonviolent social change. The organizations must be
five years old or younger, with annual budgets under $100,000. Please
use the Letter of Intent Form and Guidelines for Organizations.
The Foundation also funds the distribution of social issue media
including films, videos, radio programs, compact discs, vinyl records
and books. Please use the Letter of Intent Form, Cover Sheet and
Guidelines for Media Distribution.
Please note that Agape has increased its maximum grant amount to
$5,000 and has made other changes to the grant application process.
In order to provide grantseekers with a faster response to their
requests, the Agape Foundation now requires that grantseekers submit
a Letter of Intent form first.
This additional quick step allows grantseekers to know almost immediately
if they will be considered for a grant. An invitation to submit
a full proposal is not however a guarantee of funding.
Important dates for this grant cycle:
Monday, February 2nd, 2009
LOI form due by 5 p.m.
Staff will review and inform applicants of request for full proposal
or rejection within 72 hours.
Applicants must use Agape’s LOI form.
