Jaguar House Films San Francisco, CA // The Agape Foundation Board of Trustees Grant Fund | $2,000   Support to establish an easily accessible website in English and Spanish, elaborating the human rights and social justice issues broached in the film, Discovering Dominga, a 60-minute video documentary about an Iowa housewife who discovers she is a survivor of one of the most egregious massacres in Guatemala history. United Genders of the Universe! San Francisco, CA www.unitedgenders.org The Agape Foundation Board of Trustees Grant Fund | $2,000   Support for a Speakers' Bureau to promote the acceptance of transgender and gender-variant people. The bi-weekly educational presentations are designed for medical professionals, students, nonprofit organizations and businesses in order to promote understanding, and prevent violence and discrimination. San Diego Military Counseling Project San Diego, CA www.sdmcp.org Emmy Lefson Memorial Fund for Peace, Social Justice and Human Rights | $2,000   To establish a permanent location as a center for anti-militarism in central San Diego. The center will be a safe place for service members to gather, learn about their rights, and organize cooperatively from the inside in opposition to the military. The center will also function as a gathering place for people working in anti-military organizations. Top

San Francisco Campaign to End the Death Penalty Oakland, CA www.nodeathpenalty.org David R. Stern Memorial Fund Grant | $2,000   Support for San Francisco State University students and Bayview-Hunter's Point residents who have formed an anti-death penalty organization. They will hold events, produce educational materials and launch an inmate outreach program to death row inmates at San Quentin State Prison. Top
