Made in L.A. of Los Angeles, received a grant of $2,500 from the Agape Foundation's Board of Trustees Grant Fund to distribute their feature-length film that documents the lives, struggles and personal transformations of three Latina garment factory workers over a tumultuous three-year boycott campaign. These funds will help to build a web platform, and to publicize and distribute Made in L.A. to grassroots organizations throughout California that are working on issues affecting low wage immigrant workers. The film’s producers will hold screenings of the film and reach out to their constituencies to draw public and media attention to these issues.
